The Materials Management Clerk II is responsible for providing materials management services to the ASC, Endoscopy and Pain Management areas and staff. This includes activities associated with inventory supply management, distribution and receiving functions. Job Relationships Reports directly to the ASC Supply Chain Supervisor. Principal Responsibilities Verify receipts, note damages, discrepancies, contacts vendors, and completes appropriate documentation. Inventories, receives, stores, and delivers supplies to clinical and non-clinical departments/areas within the ASC. Monitors surgery schedule to help determine supplies needed for surgical cases. Performs counts of par level locations via hand held technology and researches discrepancies. Order and scan supplies to various departments / areas using correct charge methods. Assist in completing month end loss report for expired/wasted items and return to vendor items. Maintains ASC inventory and storeroom work areas in a clean and orderly manner per regulatory guidelines. Communicate with internal and external departments. including requesting items from hospital partners and vendor representative Comply with the Springfield Clinic incident reporting policy and procedures. Adhere to all OSHA and Springfield Clinic training as required per policy. Provide excellent customer service and adhere to Springfield Clinic’s Code of Conduct and Ethics Standards. Performs cycle counts on perpetual inventories within People Soft to ensure accuracy Perform other job duties as assigned.
