About The Position

The role of the Materials Management Associate is to support the Materials Management team with an emphasis on warehouse and inventory management. Nothing in this job description restricts management’s right to assign or reassign duties and responsibilities to this job at any time.

Requirements

  • High School diploma or GED, required.
  • 1-2 years of professional experience in Supply Chain, Inventory Control, and/or Record-Keeping, required.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office.
  • Strong communication and organizational skills.
  • Knowledge of the ERP system.
  • Ability to work overtime as needed.

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent education in a relevant field, preferred

Responsibilities

  • Maintain the warehouse and inventory.
  • Work with staff to compare deliveries with purchase orders to identify any discrepancies.
  • Verify purchases by comparing them to a master list and recommending alternatives for expensive/irrelevant product.
  • Interact with suppliers to schedule delivery times and resolve shipping errors.
  • Keep and file records of purchase orders, contracts, and receiving documents.
  • Perform any other tasks/duties as assigned by management.
