In this opportunity as a Materials Management Associate , you will: Drive a powered industrial vehicle (PIV) equipped with lifting devices such as forklift, clamps, or trailer hitch, to safely push, pull, lift, stack, tier, or move products, equipment, or materials. Unload trucks and boxcars, performing goods receipts, cycle counting, and order delivery. Utilize ERP (e.g., SAP, MII) and/or radio frequency (RF) equipment to obtain information or enter transactions regarding material/product movement activities. Pick, sort or pack picked items in appropriate packaging; ensuring that the product arrives to the customer in quality condition. Monitor, stock and transport materials or finished goods to designated area or assigned storage location. Inventory materials and finished goods and maintain records, rejecting unsatisfactory items as needed. Research and process returns, accurately recording information in ERP and determining whether product should return to stock based on quality. Provide data to internal departments as requested. Accurately documents activities on Tier Boards. May operate 2-way radio for communication. Perform daily maintenance and changes batteries if needed. Actively participate in the company safety program to ensure compliance and contribute to safety culture. Meet or exceed established quality and productivity standards utilizing standard work procedures. Implement, perform and sustain housekeeping procedures to maintain work area and equipment. Recommend process improvements; implement process improvements. Participate in project teams as needed. Other duties as apparent or assigned.
