About The Position

Boeing Commercial Airplanes (BCA) is seeking a First Line Materials Management and Transportation Manager (Level K) to join our team based in Auburn, Washington on 2nd Shift. Selected candidate must be available to work : ( 2nd Shift hours vary upon need ) The selected leader will support shop floor Expeditors and MMS employees working within the Emergent Operations (EO) business unit. Requirements

3+ years of experience working in Supply Chain, Fulfillment or Manufacturing
3+ years of experience in leading teams and/or managing projects
3+ years of experience in a role requiring strong interpersonal skills and communication skills
Must be able to work variable shifts; including days, evenings, nights, and weekends

Nice To Haves

1+ years of experience with the Boeing Production System (BPS)
1+ years of experience working with an Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system or System Application and Product (SAP) system
1+ years of experience in expediting product through a production system to meet emergent customer demand
1+ years of experience in root cause analysis and corrective action

Responsibilities

Manages and integrates employees’ activities across more than one area in materials management and transportation.
Acquires resources for projects and processes, provides technical management of suppliers and leads process improvements.
Develops and maintains relationships and partnerships with customers, stakeholders, peers, partners and direct reports.
Provides oversight and approval of technical approaches, products and processes.
Leads, develops and motivates employees.
