At BWXT, our interns perform challenging tasks in their field of study while developing and delivering unique solutions for use in a nuclear environment. Our interns work collaboratively as part of our manufacturing and operational teams and will tackle various projects and tasks relating directly to fabrication and engineering challenges. Interns will be exposed to various parts of the manufacturing process that may include process and procedure creation/revisions, assisting with product and/or tooling improvements, perform testing and analysis, and assist with engineering and shop operations personnel on a daily basis. A BWXT internship not only provides valuable on the job training but allows you to be a part of something bigger! The position of Materials & Inventory Analyst Intern is available at the Nuclear Operations Group facility in Barberton, Ohio. This position will assist in developing, implementing and managing inventory accuracy improvement initiatives including analyzing inventory levels, establishing trends, making recommendations and fostering solutions. Working across departments throughout the business, this position will also analyze operational & logistic performance to drive impactful business improvements.
