This position will be working on various projects and reports to include but not limited to:

Requirements

  • The candidate we seek will be currently enrolled in a Logistics, Business, or related Program and have completed their sophomore year of college.

Responsibilities

  • Dock Utilization Study
  • Evaluate the Use of the Docks today
  • Consider the best use of Docks for the Plant Expansion
  • Develop a proposal to schedule loads and spread deliveries for better dock efficiencies
  • Optimized Freight Deliveries
  • Evaluate Incoming Loads for maximum utilization
  • Look for opportunities to consolidate or reduce the frequency of shipments to fill out trailers
  • DPU Reduction
  • Review Data
  • Identify Opportunities
  • Provide Recommendations
  • Plan for Every Part - Assist the Team with Developing Plans for Project Implementations
