About The Position

JOIN OUR TEAM AS A MATERIALS HANDLING ASSOCIATE At HYMH, we’re committed to delivering the right part, to the right place, at the right time —and we need dedicated team members to make it happen. As a Material s Handling Associate , you’ll play a critical role in ensuring our customers receive the quality and service they expect. What You’ll Do : Customer Care: Deliver results and provide an optimal customer experience. Maintain Quality & Safety: Identify non-conformities, keep the warehouse clean and organized, adhere to 5S principles, and follow all safety procedures. Support Team Objectives: Maintain flexibility to support shifting production needs, including helping in different areas of the warehouse when to ensure timely and accurate order fulfillment. Operate Equipment: Safely operate forklifts and other machinery; maintain a valid Forklift Operator’s license; change batteries and propane tanks as needed. Handle Inventory: Receive incoming products, manage inventory in control systems, and store items neatly in stock and surplus locations. Fulfill Orders: Identify , pick, verify, sort, package, label , and load outbound products; assemble kits and ensure accuracy in part numbers and quantities. Meet Performance Expectations : Achieve productivity requirements while maintaining accuracy and quality b y demonstrating problem solving, critical thinking, and collaboration . Perform other related duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • Strong teamwork, communication ( written and verbal ) , and critical thinking skills.
  • Safety-focused, detail-oriented, and results-driven with the ability to work independently.
  • Familiarity with warehouse policies and standard operating procedures.
  • Ability to manage high-volume inventory and meet deadlines without compromising quality.
  • Comfortable using technology (RF devices, handheld and flatscreen computers , etc. ).
  • Experience with Sit Down, Stand Up, Reach, and Order Selector equipment—or willingness to learn.
  • Lift up to 50 lbs and perform repetitive movements for extended periods.
  • Reliable vision (with corrective lenses if needed).
  • Comfortable working at heights up to 30 feet and rotating through multiple work areas.
  • High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
