Taylor Corporation is looking for a Material Handler to join our team in Murfreesboro .

Requirements

• Ability to safely operate a forklift and use a computer system to track inventory
• Ability to follow instructions
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Flexibility to perform a variety of job assignments
• Familiarity with basic computer operations
• Math skills including addition, subtraction, fractions, and decimals
• Ability to communicate and exchange accurate information so others will understand
• Ability to remain in a stationary position for extended periods
• Constant operation of machinery and handling of materials, including print materials
• Frequent movement throughout the facility
• Ability to lift, push, pull, and carry 25+ pounds regularly

Responsibilities

• Unload and stage incoming shipments using various material handling equipment
• Break down inbound shipments and verify accuracy
• Put away product into correct locations using material handling equipment
• Pull orders accurately using paper and electronic systems
• Operate forklifts and other material moving equipment to designated areas
• Perform general warehouse housekeeping, including sweeping, mopping, and emptying trash
• Follow all safety procedures while operating equipment and performing job duties
