Requirements

Proper and safe handling, loading/unloading, moving, storing, and shipping of materials
Safe use of hand tools and equipment
ERP system experience
General warehousing including 5S Lean standards
Basic PC operations, including use of Microsoft Office products
Effective oral and written communication
Basic math
Problem solving and researching
Maintain neat, accurate, and legible records
Follow oral and written instructions
Perform moderately heavy manual labor while focusing on safety
High school diploma or GED
3 years of materials handling experience, including forklift utilization and inventory management software system experience
Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record based on driving requirements for the position
Must obtain First Aid/CPR card within 30 days
Idaho Power forklift certification within 30 days
Complete DOT PHMSA 49 CFR Part 172 required hazardous materials employee training
Additional safety related training as required
Job requires the employee to attend required safety trainings and to obtain and wear company provided and approved safety footwear and PPE

3 years materials handling experience in a warehouse or utility environment

Responsibilities

Using a computerized Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system to accurately record all materials movement transactions
Developing and maintaining indoor and outdoor storage areas
Maintaining organization, cleanliness and 5S Standards within facility and daily workspace
Ensuring a safe working environment through regular safety inspections and cleaning and maintenance of all storage and work areas and equipment
Working in a team-oriented environment with high focus on customer satisfaction
Performing work in both a warehouse and yard environment, which involves working with chemicals, equipment, hand and power tools, and material that requires special handling, storage, and packaging due to exposure to potential environmental and safety hazards
