About The Position

MaineGeneral Health is looking for a Materials Handler Technician to join our dynamic team of professionals. The Materials Handler Technician distributes and stocks inventory and equipment to assigned areas.

Requirements

• Ability to think and work independently and with direction.
• Ability to communicate with staff members in a fast-paced and sometimes stressful environment.
• Previous Materials Handler experience preferred.
• Previous experience in the healthcare industry preferred.

Responsibilities

• Verifies orders and reviews against items to be delivered to ensure accuracy of delivery.
• Delivers requested items or reports issues preventing delivery to appropriate persons.
• Communicates with internal and external customers regarding inventory levels, availability of supplies, and product identification.
• Documents tracking for distributed inventory.
• Maintains work and storage areas and equipment in an organized, clean, and safe condition.
