About The Position

The Materials Handler/Forklift Operator position at Tyson Foods in Enid, OK is a full-time role responsible for product movement within the facility and loading products for shipment. Requirements

• Must have 6 months of work history with one employer in the past 24 months.
• Willingness and ability to perform mobile equipment operation and maintain safety certifications.
• Basic computer skills for training and task completion.
• Ability to perform physical tasks and lift weights between 20-70 pounds.
• Willingness to work in varying temperature conditions and potentially slippery environments.

Responsibilities

• Operate mobile equipment and maintain lock out tag out certification.
• Perform stacking, inspections, material checks, racking, and rack pushing.
• Become certified in pallet jack, fall protection, and forklift operation.
• Utilize basic computer skills to complete required training or tasks.
• Perform physical tasks including standing, sitting, bending, walking, stretching, climbing, pushing, pulling, kneeling, squatting, and reaching.
• Lift, carry, push, and pull weights ranging from 20 to 70 pounds.
• Work in cold (10 degrees below zero to 105 degrees) or damp environments with potentially slippery surfaces.
• Work overtime and weekends as required.
• Read and understand labels, recipes, and instructions, and communicate effectively.
