• Leads a crew to accomplish assigned projects and daily operational functions.
• Ensures awareness of trade techniques and practices.
• Demonstrates proper work methods and works alongside others.
• Provides staff with daily tasks and follows up to confirm completion.
• Checks work while in progress and upon completion.
• Discusses training requirements and issues with the supervisor.
• Assists in developing plans for storage and arrangement of stock.
• Advises workers on guidelines or special instructions to meet deadlines.
• Consolidates materials to maximize space utilization and protect materials.
• Coordinates incoming and outgoing shipments and placement of materials.
• Serves as a senior member of the warehouse project team for special projects.
• Performs other related duties as assigned.
