Requirements

• Must be able to obtain and maintain a determination of eligibility for a Secret security clearance.
• Must be able to obtain a government operator's license to operate motor vehicles and forklifts.
• Personal protective equipment/clothing such as steel-toed shoes and gloves is required during some operations.
• Ability to do the work of a Materials Handler (Forklift Operator) without more than normal supervision.
• Ability to interpret instructions and specifications.
• Knowledge of materials and technical practices.

Responsibilities

• Receives all incoming property book items for the hand receipt holders and acquisition personnel.
• Assists in the distribution of items.
• Plans workload upon estimated delivery date, updates files, and processes receipts.
• Manages warehouse to include the facility, forklift, scooter, office equipment and material handling equipment.
• Operates a forklift with up to a 6,000-pound capacity to load, unload, and store bulky items.
