About The Position
The position involves organizing and coordinating an effective receiving and storage operation. The incumbent will independently perform a complete range of receiving assignments, verify quantities received, and take appropriate action. Responsibilities include unloading incoming shipments, scanning bar codes, and verifying receipt information into an automated record system. The role also requires building pallet loads for storage, ensuring the care of supplies in storage, and performing comprehensive quality reviews of warehousing functions. The incumbent will issue and distribute items, operate forklift trucks, and drive various types of trucks for deliveries.
