About The Position

Support Precision Coils objectives by striving to continually meet or exceed company on-time shipping goals by providing timely distribution of materials/parts to the various manufacturing areas. Ensure that inventory accuracy goals are met and maintained. Support all plant operations by ensuring materials are received and accurately stored/distributed as needed.

Requirements

• Must be certified and proficient on a sit-down and standup lift
• Lift 50lbs at a 10% frequency level
• Work independently with minimal instructions
• Good communication skills.

Nice To Haves

• Experience in receiving/stockroom/inventory control is preferred
• SAP knowledge is a plus

Responsibilities

• Unload/Receive/Verify the accuracy of quantity and quality of incoming deliveries.
• Replenish inventory and ensure the stock levels are kept at appropriate levels at various locations within the facility.
• Label parts appropriately and utilize FIFO inventory management
• Coordinate with materials team, management, and stockroom as required
• Document and escalate any OS&D to Materials Supervisor or Buyer
• Ability to identify parts, count parts, and document counts in performing cycle count activities as requested
• Record/Report scrap from the production area and prepare it for shipment to recycle
• Maintain KanBan inventory system throughout the facility
• Maintain 5S standards within the stockroom
• Assist with month end cycle counts
