About The Position

Begin your day by walking the warehouse floor, checking the status of inbound raw material, outbound finished goods, and waste streams. You’ll oversee shipping and transportation activities, align resources, and guide a team of direct reports to keep materials moving smoothly through the facility. Your focus: rotate inventory properly, ship on time in full to meet company and customer commitments, and elevate service while controlling cost.

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent required; college degree preferred.
5–10 years of operations/production management experience in a manufacturing environment.
Hands-on experience with operational tactics, lean manufacturing, and continuous improvement.
Working knowledge of production processes, raw materials, quality control, costs, and methods for efficient manufacture and distribution.
Excellent communication skills; a proactive self-starter.
Strong organizational and time management capabilities with keen attention to detail.
You should be proficient in Warehouse Experience

Responsibilities

End-to-end oversight of warehouse and shipping operations, including transportation coordination.
Leadership of a team managing the flow of raw materials, waste, and finished goods through the warehouse.
Rotation of raw and finished inventory and compliant shipment of finished goods to meet company and customer requirements.
Tracking and reporting shipping KPIs to drive productivity, quality, and service levels beyond target.
Synchronizing material movement with production needs and rail car schedules to prevent bottlenecks.
Upholding safety, security, sanitation, and cleanliness standards across the warehouse, docks, and all related equipment.
Leading SOP- and 5S-based process improvements that reduce cost, increase accuracy, and enhance customer experience.
Monitoring and controlling inventory accuracy via routine cycle counts and compliance practices.
Driving continuous improvement of manufacturing processes and methods to optimize plant performance, workflow, and efficiency.
Holistic oversight of inventory and materials management for raw materials and finished goods.
