About The Position

The Materials Finance Risk Management Leader will financially cover the following areas of Materials Management: Sales and Operations Planning Process (SIOP), Planning, and Fulfillment to drive optimal performance. This includes cost, delivery, quality, cash and profitability through the Supply Chain and Project execution. This is a highly cross-functional, cross-divisional role that is responsible for interpreting internal and external business challenges and translating them into financials cycles and results.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college (or a high school diploma / GED with at least 6 years of experience in finance/accounting
  • This role requires access to U.S. export-controlled information. Therefore, employment will be contingent upon the ability to prove that you meet the status of a U.S. Person as one of the following: U.S. lawful permanent resident, U.S. Citizen, have been granted asylee or refugee status (i.e., a protected individual under the Immigration and Naturalization Act, 8 U.S.C. 1324b(a)(3)).

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for activities that coordinate process and financials across the global supply chain network and across GE Aerospace Divisions.
  • Requires ability to influence the development of strategy and execution.
  • Leads functional teams or projects with minimal resource requirements, risk, and/or complexity.
  • Communicates difficult concepts and may influence others' options on particular topics.
  • May guide others to consider a different point of view.

  • Responsible for unit (clear to build, clear to launch) forecasting cycles - month updates, quarterly forecasts, long range forecasts - and the connection between Operations and Finance.
  • Opportunity to be involved in Production System HK for areas in scope for this role.
  • Responsible for partnering with Operations' teams on policy and process build-out across areas covered.
  • Responsible for a team of 2 employees.
