About The Position

As the Materials Expeditor, you will safely sit down/stand-up forklifts or pallet jacks to move, stack, load, and unload materials in warehouse and production. Key duties include conducting daily equipment checks, managing inventory via RF scanners, ensuring load stability, and adhering to strict OSHA safety protocols. Performing daily pre-operation inspections, reporting mechanical issues, and following safety regulations. At Brunswick, we have passion for our work and a distinct ability to deliver.

Requirements

  • Preferred 1-3 years fork-lift experience
  • 1-3 years Fiberglass experience
  • Material handling experience in a fiberglass environment preferred
  • Ability to work 10 hours + shift
  • Ability to work with a variety of chemicals following all proper safety requirements
  • Work independently in a fast-paced team environment
  • Understand supply chain systems components/competences
  • Read print/work instructions
  • Read and complete process sheets
  • Attention to detail
  • Computer skills including email

Responsibilities

  • Must possess the desire and ambition to work safely at all times, and report all hazards to their Supervisor immediately
  • Ability to understand and follow Standard Operating Procedures, Work Instructions, and Engineering Prints
  • Use a variety of electric and pneumatic hand tools
  • Seek positive solutions to issues and problems
  • Must be able to complete work within takt time
  • Keep work area clean and organized
  • Maintain a high standard of conduct and comply with company policies and procedures
  • Perform other duties as assigned
  • Receive, unload, and inspect all incoming shipments.
  • Verify product counts, item descriptions, and purchase order information.
  • Document discrepancies, damages, and shortages; escalate as needed.
  • Accurately enter receiving data into warehouse systems (must have some computer knowledge).
  • Label, stage, and organize received materials for put‑away.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the receiving dock.
  • Communicate with purchasing, inventory control, and warehouse associates regarding incoming products.
  • Operate pallet jacks, forklifts, RF scanners, or other equipment (if certified).
  • Follow all company safety policies and procedures.
