About The Position
The Materials Examiner and Identifier (FLO) is responsible for receiving, examining, and determining the condition and disposition of a wide variety of materials. This role involves reviewing disposal turn-in documents, visually inspecting usable property, and determining condition and reportability. The examiner must also verify demilitarization codes, ensure proper certification is attached to turn-in documents, and perform special and periodic inventory of property. Additionally, the position requires operating forklifts and related materials handling equipment to manage materials effectively.
