Materials Distribution Team Member
About The Position
The following description of work to be performed by this individual is not intended to be all-inclusive. Rather, it focuses on the major tasks that must be accomplished. There are many necessary activities to satisfy any of the following performance guidelines. Safety Identify and address safety concerns Material Handling Operate Forklift, Crane, Yard Truck, Trailers, and Basket Jig safely Inspect equipment and report if repairs are needed. Stock product and process electronic transfers Monitor manufacturing orders for due dates and customer packing and shipping instructions. Monitor and complete Material Handler requests Wrap, band and label finished material for shipment Material Support Pack Parts to packing specifications Maintain quality standards Wrap, band and label finished material for shipment Inventory Complete electronic inventory transactions. Perform cycle counts Research and resolve inventory inaccuracies Receiving Receive and inspect inbound material for compliance with AI standards. Process inbound parcels and deliver to location Shipping Load outside carriers Validate and complete shipping documents Process parcel boxes for shipment Contribute to department’s Continuous Improvement, 5S, and Quality initiatives by submitting ideas and participating in project implementations.
