Materials/Courier - Full Time
About The Position
Under direction of the Materials Manager, performs courier route as required in a timely and safe manner. Maintains established departmental policies and procedures, objectives, quality assurance program, safety, environmental and infection control standards. Complete courier route as required in a timely and safe manner. Approximately 5 hours of non-continuous driving. Transport mail, supplies, lab specimens, etc. to and from outlying clinics. Transport deposits to banks. Transport mail to and from post office. Maintains vehicle maintenance schedule. Demonstrates willingness to identify and/or assume activities relative to the developmental needs of the department. Demonstrates dependability/flexibility in meeting scheduling needs of the department and hospital. Accepts assignment as preceptor for new staff. Completes work assignments on time/readily accepts assignments as observed by manager. Reports to work on time and is at work as scheduled, as observed by manager.
Requirements
- High School diploma or equivalent required.
- Current Driver’s License with clean DMV record required.
