The Role The Materials Coordinator plays a critical role in ensuring reliable material flow and accurate inventory to support daily production operations. This role supports GM Defense Advanced Build, focused on low‑volume, high‑precision build activities. The position requires a high degree of autonomy and accountability, with end‑to-end ownership of the materials room, inventory controls, and overall material readiness. Partnering closely with Engineering and Manufacturing teams, the Materials Coordinator supports build schedules, proactively resolves material issues, and maintains accurate, compliant documentation and system records.
