About The Position

Support specific project and program objectives as defined in the areas of responsibility, and that necessary preliminary activities (e.g., determination of outcomes, milestones, viability studies, and resource planning, among others) are completed. Support projects and programs assigned are completed in accordance with predetermined requirements, with specific attention to product/process specifications, project/program costs, resource utilization, and timeliness for completion. Ensures that all phases of project, program and/or process development are documented and that information required in other functional areas is reported, disseminated, or transferred, as appropriate. Ensures compliance with Company policies regarding Engineering/Lab notebooks, patents, confidentiality and safety. Undertake study of new technologies, as appropriate. Support data collection for materials & financial resources. Other Requirements: This position may require standing for extended periods of time, walking, working in tight spaces, bending, squatting, twisting, kneeling, reaching, lifting, the ability to distinguish between colors, the ability to work in an environment with noise that may be difficult for some individuals with sensitivity to noise, and the use of hand and power tools. Additionally, because this position also may involve working in a clean room, the use of appropriate Personal Protective Equipment such as coveralls, hoods, booties, safety glasses, gloves, respirators, chemical aprons, and face shields may be required. What will you do: Primary (material procurement & management): Understand sourcing strategy for R&D parts and advise team on best method Working with engineering to manage part procurement & logistic end-to-end Responsible for getting materials in for R&D team in timely manner Work side by side with buyers to get quotes, and manage push outs/late delivery Assist with shipping parts domestic and international

Requirements

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills are required.
  • Must be able to maintain alignment across a wide range of stakeholders
  • Ability to work on cross-functional teams in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong problem solving and critical thinking abilities
  • Must be comfortable presenting program status to management
  • BA degree or higher in business/administration/supply chain is preferred.

Nice To Haves

  • SAP experience is preferred
