Job Description Provides administrative and basic functional support within the Materials Control function as assigned. Assists department staff in completing assigned activities. May review and issue routine correspondence, update records, check status of in-process activity, enter data or updates in electronic systems, and maintain files and electronic documentation as required. May provide status updates and coordinate routine activity with other personnel and departments. Follows established procedures, maintains the security of project data and keeps senior personnel informed as appropriate. Requires computer skills and proficiency using email, Microsoft Office or specialized applications (e.g. maintaining data in USG AIS) as necessary to perform assigned job functions. Other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • High school diploma / GED equivalent, or an equivalent combination of education and experience, and one (1) year to three (3) years related experience
  • Requires computer skills and proficiency using email, Microsoft Office or specialized applications as necessary to perform assigned job functions.
  • To ensure compliance with safety, health and security requirements in the contract, employee will possess the ability to read, write, speak and understand the English language at the intermediate level as necessary to perform assigned job functions.
