About The Position

This is a Day Shift position Monday – Friday, 8:00am to 4:00pm. Essential Duties and Responsibilities 1. Learn and apply SEL Values and Principles of Operation. 2. Learn the concepts of World Class Manufacturing, and consistently apply them to continually improve and simplify processes in your area. 3. Learn and perform daily materials and receiving tasks to achieve customer expectations for service and delivery by reading and following area documentation and operating mobile equipment. 4. Improve performance by learning from previous experience, others, accepting new assignments and by openly receiving regular feedback. 5. Work cooperatively within a team environment. 6. Maintain a safe, clean and organized work area and equipment. 7. Model and apply SEL Values, Principles of Operations, and World Class Manufacturing Principles. 8. Understand. Create. Simplify. 9. Other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • Ability to listen, comprehend, and follow instructions
  • Basic math, documentation, reading, writing and communication skills
  • Manual dexterity and ability to concentrate
  • Ability to frequently lift 40 pounds
  • Adhere to SEL's tobacco-free policy
  • Compliance with heightened periodic drug testing for operators of SEL vehicles
  • Ability to learn new skills and assume new responsibilities
  • Ability to work cooperatively in a team environment
  • Background check results satisfactory to SEL
  • Negative drug test result(s)

Nice To Haves

  • Previous Materials/Receiving Experience
  • Experience in forklift truck operation
