About The Position

JOB SUMMARY Mid-level position in the materials handling of finished surfactant products and inbound raw materials. A Warehouse Material Handler moves, stores, picks, packs, and ships materials. Key duties include loading/unloading, order fulfillment, and maintaining accurate stock counts, requiring physical stamina and adherence to safety protocols. PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES Operates forklift trucks as required to transfer drums and totes. Unload deliveries, inspect materials, sort, label, and place items in designated locations. Order picking, staging and loading finished products on flat bed, domestic and import trailers. Track stock levels, record movements, perform cycle counts, and report shortages. Keeps assigned equipment and work area clean and orderly. Completes a daily housekeeping area. Follows Kensing’s safety rules and promotes their observance in the performance of job duties. Must be able to lift 50 lbs. Follows Kensing’s policies. Adhere to all GMP Standards/Requirements

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Experience in warehousing or bulk material handling is preferred.
  • The individual will be very safety conscious when working with and around chemicals.
  • Show initiative.
  • Must have excellent attention to detail.
  • Must be results oriented and customer focused.
  • Must possess good communication skills and possess the ability to work in a team environment.
  • Must possess the willingness and ability to work outside in various weather conditions.
  • Must also be able to prioritize tasks and be self-motivated.
  • Must have basic computer skills and a willingness and ability to learn computer systems in use by Kensing (SAP).

Responsibilities
