Material Associate handles, moves, and stores various materials and customer products within a warehouse or production facility. Key Responsibilities: Prepare Equipment Operator Checklist daily. Operate a Forklift in a safe manner. Receive components in required systems including WMS. Assign LPN, work order, or GR tag quantities to work orders in required system accurately. Print labels as needed. Forward all required paperwork to inventory/purchasing. Replenish supplies and materials at workstations and in marked locations. Perform Re-Stock process correctly. Place skids in properly marked areas on a consistent basis. Understand freight bill requirements for outbound shipments per customer and Crown requirements. Prepare Bills of Lading properly when required. Perform re-deploy process relating to outbound shipments when required. Follow dunnage process (inbound and outbound). Prepare Bin Tickets for running count on material as depleted. Maintain familiarity of warehouse layout (bin locations) including floor assignments for inbound freight and how to locate with scanner. Follow customer shortage matrix and shortage process. Prepare non-conformances related to material issues found during shipping or receiving process. Follow all Crown Packaging safety and health rules and regulations, and wear or use required protective equipment while working. Report hazardous conditions to the employer. Other duties as assigned.
