The Materials Associate IV is responsible for performing a variety of tasks associated with inventory control, stockroom, and logistics operations in accordance with established procedures.

Requirements

  • Typically requires HS diploma (or equivalent, e.g. G.E.D in the US) or vocational/ technical education in related discipline with a minimum of 4 years of relevant experience
  • U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are authorized to access information under this program/contract.
  • Experience with SAP or other ERP systems.
  • Experience in a leadership or supervisory position

Nice To Haves

  • Prior experience working with inventory in a controlled environment.
  • Computer skills, proficient with O365 programs.
  • Prior experience working with VLM’s (Vertical Lift Module).
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills.
  • Openness to learning new systems/processes/technologies.
  • Experience with SAP
  • Degree in Business, Logistics, Supply Chain, or related fields.
  • Knowledge of Lean, Six Sigma or CORE.
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with shifting priorities.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and prioritize component picking activities using established priority systems to support production schedules.
  • Oversee and ensure accurate issuance of components to work orders, maintaining full batch and lot traceability.
  • Coordinate and monitor daily restocking of components into Vertical Lift Modules (VLMs) to ensure stockroom accuracy and availability.
  • Perform and oversee cycle count activities in accordance with inventory control and audit requirements; investigate and resolve discrepancies.
  • Execute and review material movement transactions in SAP, ensuring accuracy for components moving in and out of the stockroom.
  • Identify, document, and process quality notifications for non-conforming components; collaborate with Quality and Production teams on resolution.
  • Serve as a point of contact for shop floor material issues, escalating risks and shortages as needed.
  • Support training, onboarding, and guidance of Materials Associates to ensure adherence to standard work and best practices.
  • Ensure compliance with all Environmental Health & Safety (EH&S) policies, procedures, and required training.
