About The Position

As a SkyWater Technology Materials Associate 2, you will be instrumental in optimizing our supply chain and ensuring the efficient flow of goods and services at our site in Kissimmee, FL. Your role involves coordinating transportation, managing, and creating inventory, inspection and receiving of material including chemicals and overseeing the entire logistics process. You will work closely with suppliers, carriers, and internal teams to streamline operations, reduce costs, and enhance overall logistics efficiency.

Requirements

  • High School diploma or equivalent
  • Minimum 1 - 3 years of experience in warehousing and/or logistics related activities such as operation of warehouse material handling equipment and knowledge of inventory control
  • Minimum 1 - 3 years chemical shipping and handling with the ability handle as directed in the hazmat material sheets and must be able to obtain Hazmat certification
  • Prior experience efficiently using a purchasing and inventory system, like NetSuite
  • Able to multi-task and handle multiple functions
  • Mid-level to advanced skills in Microsoft Office software especially Word and Excel
  • Ability to lift 30-50 lbs
  • Shift hours for training: Shift is M-F, 8am-5pm (some flexibility on work hours). After training you will be assigned to A Shift, defined as Sunday through Tuesday in one week, and Sunday through Wednesday in the other week from 6:00 am to 6:15 pm, 12.25 hours per day, with a 30-minute unpaid meal period in mid-shift OR C Shift, defined as Wednesday through Saturday in one week, and Thursday through Saturday in the other week, from 6:00 am – 6:15 pm, 12.25 hours per day, with a 30-minute unpaid meal period in mid-shift.
  • U.S. Citizenship Required: US Citizenship Required: This position will require the ability to obtain and maintain a government security clearance which requires U.S Citizenship

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for a variety of warehouse duties in the shipping and receiving area which will include filing, receipt and storage of materials, mail processing, deliveries, and coordination of shipping of goods.
  • Preparation of daily outbound shipments.
  • Will set up and maintain an accurate inventory of parts, raw materials, and chemicals.
  • Perform initial quality control according to spec’d documents of incoming material.
  • Will assist in establishing and maintaining new area for storing spare parts/materials.
  • Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other machinery to move items, or signals machine operators to move materials onto and off trucks, ships, and loading docks.
  • Ensure proper gowning procedures and safety standards are being followed at all times in the area.
  • Receiving, stocking, and issuing of materials using Netsuite ERP system.
  • Perform basic warehouse functions such as cycle counts and kit-building.
  • Support day-to-day factory critical requirements.
  • Communicate with vendors on status of orders/shipments.
  • Communicate to site daily inventory levels and shipping status.
