This data-driven, detail-oriented individual, as part of the Supply Chain Management team, will be responsible for managing and analyzing the flow of materials within the Franklin location to ensure timely availability for production. This is a high-impact, visible role that involves forecasting material needs, optimizing inventory levels, coordinating with supplies, and supporting cost-effective procurement strategies that will minimize delays in production. This position reports to the Materials Manager, is onsite, and is based in Franklin, NH.

Requirements

  • 2+ years of experience in materials planning, inventory control, or supply chain analytics.
  • Proficiency in ERP systems - SAP and data analysis tools (Excel, Power BI).
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
  • Understanding of and adherence to applicable laws, codes, policies, regulations, and safety practices and procedures, as applicable.
  • Must successfully establish employment eligibility and satisfactorily complete background checks and required pre-employment testing as a condition of employment.

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor's degree in supply chain management, Business, Industrial Engineering, or related field.
  • Knowledge of Lean, Six Sigma, or other process improvement methodologies.

Responsibilities

  • Analyze and forecast material requirements based on production schedules and business needs.
  • Monitor and maintain optimal inventory levels to prevent shortages or overstocking.
  • Coordinate with procurement and suppliers to ensure timely delivery of materials.
  • Conduct regular audits of inventory and reconcile discrepancies.
  • Utilize ERP and MRP systems to manage material data and track performance.
  • Develop and maintain supplier relationships to negotiate pricing and delivery terms.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (production, finance, engineering) to align material planning with organizational goals.
  • Prepare reports and dashboards for senior management on material usage, costs, and performance metrics.
  • Identify and implement process improvements in material handling and inventory control.
  • Ensure compliance with industry regulations and internal policies.
  • Assume responsibility for other projects and duties as assigned by Materials Manager or Company management.
