Requirements

  • Associate’s Degree in a technical or business field of study. Four years of directly related work experience may be substituted in lieu of degree.
  • 3+ years in logistics or inventory management (Tier 1 automotive experience preferred).
  • Strong analytical skills with experience in ERP systems (SAP/QAD), SQL, and reporting tools (Power BI).
  • Advanced level of expertise with Microsoft Office products (Excel)

Responsibilities

  • Monitor sequencer inventory levels for minimum violations and accuracy.
  • Investigate inventory discrepancies using structured root cause analysis (e.g., 5 Whys).
  • Identify systemic issues such as BOM errors, duplicate receipts, or unposted transactions.
  • Assist with annual physical inventory and direct resources for accurate counts.
  • Manage build-outs and system fills for new part numbers and launches.
  • Communicate and resolve POP/PAB and sequencer inventory issues promptly.
  • Coordinate activities with ERP administrators and logistics teams to ensure smooth operations.
  • Develop and manage cycle count programs for raw materials, WIP, and finished goods.
  • Own and maintain inventory accuracy KPIs, including cycle count accuracy and absolute value metrics.
