About this Role The Materials Analyst I at Ampacity must be able to execute mathematical, IT, and analytical skills pertinent to the job. They are also expected to be detail-oriented, creative, and possess amazing problem-solving skills. To ensure success, Material Analyst I's should display an investigative nature and must be accurate, commercially aware, and have great communication skills. Top candidates for advancement must show fantastic project and budget management, great knowledge of design/construction processes, considerable sales acumen, and familiarity with appropriate legal regulations. This is a remote position.

Requirements

  • Self-starter, disciplined, and strong analytical abilities while being open to different points of view
  • Proficient in computer technology and Microsoft Office applications
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with a knack for conveying information confidently, directly, respectfully, precisely, and accurately
  • Highly motivated to research and report in great detail and with clarity, and able to tolerate and understand extensive and nuanced sets of rules and regulations regarding product requirements
  • Exceptional time management skills, self awareness, and flexibility as required to set and meet reasonable project deadlines within the agreed upon hours of operation
  • Trustworthy and comfortable with working while being isolated in front of a computer for multiple hours at a time

Responsibilities

  • Develop project strategy plans based on logical frameworks through design processes like Material Lists, Inventory Sales Orders, Full Project Reviews, Summaries, and Layouts
  • Maintain project timeframes, objectives and communications with Sales Directors and other Design Team members
  • Create, manage, and audit documentation and reports for projects within our shared Drive
  • Identify the goals and requirements of each project through communication with Sales Directors and analyze various federal and local data collection outfits to gain necessary project information
  • Track, forecast and report on project progress including metrics and challenges
  • Maintain current knowledge on product manufacturer’s requirements applicable to each project
