Material Warehouse Worker - 3rd Shift / 11pm to 7:30am / Sunday to Thursday
About The Position
As a core member of our production team, you will be expected to: Be responsible for the proper warehousing of raw materials to support the manufacturing process Act in support of the recycling and disposal of corrugated waste and garbage generated through daily production Be trained to receive packaging and ingredients, as well as production material set up Review the BOM’s to ensure they are accurate and complete when supporting the manufacturing floor Be dedicated to the QCDSM process, adhere to SQF guidelines, and support the production of safe, high quality products and team member safety As your employer, Perry’s will help you to achieve all of the above goals through feedback, education, and continuous professional development.
Requirements
- Flexibility of schedule. Able to work some overtime as needed.
- Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds
- Problem solving (analysis and resolution) skills required.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills required.
- Must be willing to be trained and use the yard tractor as needed
- Possess strong mathematical and logic skills.
- Good housekeeping skills
- Must be able to stand and walk for extended periods
- Must be willing and capable of receiving a forklift license
- Computer skills – willing to learn Outlook and CIMPRO.
- Commitment to living Perry’s “values” required.
- Willing to learn and adhere to Department specific SQF requirements
