Day (Blue) Shift: 2-2-3 Split, 6a-6p JOB RESPONSIBILITIES: Grinding of scrap parts Operating the rail side unloading system Other duties as assigned by the Supervisor Grinding area Inside and outside rail car areas Pump houses Silo areas Maintain housekeeping standards of assigned areas Minor maintenance of equipment Maintain and operate the material loading system Operate the plastic extruder

Requirements

Must be able to work outside for short periods of time
Physically able to bend, squat, twist, climb, reach and lift 50 pounds without assistance
Must be able to effectively communicate in writing and orally with others
Must follow all safety procedures
Must wear/ use all required PPE, to include, but not limited to, safety glasses, hearing protection, mechanics gloves (when required), steel toe boots, etc.
Lift Truck certified (preferred, but not necessary.) If not certified in lift truck, must become certified in reasonable amount of time
Material Tech/Grinders working on a Continuous Ops shift – knowledge of resins/materials/colors is preferred
Knowledge of the extrusion process or experience running an extruder preferred
