SierTeK Ltd. is seeking four (4) Material Support Technicians (Day Shift) to support an opportunity at Randolph AFB. The primary responsibility of this position is to accept, process, track, and manage aircraft assets moving into and out of storage while maintaining strict accountability and documentation

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or equivalent required.
  • Strong ability to maintain detailed records and strict accountability of government assets.
  • Excellent organizational skills and ability to coordinate with multiple personnel and supervisors.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in inventory control, asset management, logistics, or aircraft maintenance support preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Accept and process aircraft assets into and out of storage in accordance with established procedures.
  • Track, secure, and account for all AAM items received, released, routed, and inventoried using the current production management system, ensuring positive control through proper documentation and signatures.
  • Verify that each asset has been inspected for serviceability and properly prepared for storage.
  • Ensure all assets are correctly identified, tagged, protected, and free of residual fluids prior to storage.
  • Catalog and inventory assets upon acceptance into storage.
  • Transport assets between storage and work locations as required.
  • Operate forklifts, utility vehicles, and GMVs (must maintain required certifications); personnel transporting materials must possess a valid state-issued driver’s license.
  • Maintain presence at the designated work area and support maintenance activities as required.
  • Maintain positive control of all stored assets, including conducting inventories at least twice weekly.
  • Perform daily tracking of asset movements and report discrepancies twice weekly or immediately when identified.
  • Conduct thorough inventories/audits to verify all aircraft-removed assets are properly processed or routed.
  • Perform monthly AAM audits and ensure accountability through proper documentation and signatures.
  • Maintain accurate inventory records, issue logbooks, and ensure proper filing of all documentation.
  • Update inventory systems with detailed tracking information, including: Date and time of asset removal Individual taking possession Destination/back shop Reinstallation or routing status (with signatures)
  • Assist production controllers/schedulers and dock schedulers in properly securing assets on pallets or in containers to prevent damage and ensure personnel safety.
  • Retrieve and reissue assets for reinstallation, repair, or other maintenance actions as required.
  • Deliver assets to the appropriate dock location and notify the requesting mechanic within two (2) hours of availability.
  • Ensure newly received or routed assets are incorporated into inventory and managed with the same level of accountability.
  • Adapt to changes in production locations and storage areas based on workload or facility changes.
  • Input and maintain accurate data in the production management system.
