About The Position

A Material Stocker uses industrial equipment in handling and transferring material.

Requirements

  • Ability to identify cabinet types, wood species, finishes, and color variances
  • Ability to identify and process damaged or flawed material in lieu of stocking it
  • Ability to use basic math concepts and read a standard tape measure
  • High school diploma or G.E.D.
  • Ability to walk and stand for extended periods of time
  • Frequent bending, crouching, pulling, and pushing
  • Regularly lift and/or move up to 20lb, occasionally lift and/or move up to 50lb

Responsibilities

  • Accurately interpret pallet paperwork and labels
  • Maintain familiarity with plant layout and stock locations
  • Safely use a pallet jack in performing various tasks
  • Enter plant receipt reports into computerized database
  • Receive and stock materials in correct locations
  • Identify all cabinet parts, components, and stock locations
  • Maintain a safe work environment, including housekeeping
  • Other duties as assigned
