We are seeking a Warehouse Associate/Material Handler to support day-to-day warehouse operations in a fast-paced environment. This is an hourly position responsible for receiving, storing, organizing, and distributing materials and products within the warehouse. The ideal candidate will have forklift experience, attention to detail, and the ability to work efficiently in a collaborative team environment. Experience with Jira and SAP is a plus and will be beneficial for streamlining processes.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Previous experience in a warehouse, material handling, or logistics environment preferred.
  • Forklift certification or experience required.
  • Familiarity with SAP or similar warehouse management systems is a plus.
  • Experience with Jira for task tracking or project management is a plus.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical tasks.
  • Proficiency in using warehouse equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks, and hand trucks.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions precisely.
  • Good organizational skills and the ability to manage time effectively.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to work well within a team environment.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks efficiently.

Responsibilities

  • Safely move, store, and organize materials and products within the warehouse.
  • Receive incoming shipments, verify that products match purchase orders or packing slips, and inspect for any damage or discrepancies.
  • Pick products and materials according to order requirements, ensuring accuracy.
  • Prepare and load outbound shipments, ensuring timely delivery and correct documentation.
  • Assist with regular inventory counts and monitor stock levels to ensure accuracy.
  • Operate forklifts and other warehouse equipment to move materials and products safely and efficiently.
  • Maintain an organized and clean warehouse environment by adhering to housekeeping standards and safety protocols.
  • Utilize warehouse management systems (WMS), including SAP, for inventory tracking, order management, and updating records.
  • Follow safety protocols and ensure the warehouse environment is compliant with safety standards.
  • Work closely with team members, supervisors, and other departments to ensure the smooth and efficient operation of warehouse activities.
