About The Position

Responsible for the safe and efficient operation of the Fuel Yard plant equipment. Performs lower skilled duties involving mechanical and electrical maintenance. Responsible for operating and maintaining stacker/reclaimer, conveyors, dewatering bins, and various other plant systems. Cleaning assigned area, THIS IS A BARGAINING UNIT POSITION REPRESENTED BY IBEW 2337. ROTATING 12 HOUR SHIFT SCHEDULE. HOURLY RATE $31.33.

Requirements

• High school diploma, or GED equivalent is required.
• Must be willing to work on a rotating 12-hour shift work schedule.
• Good knowledge of basic math, reading and writing skills required.
• Ability to use all hand tools and other various tools.
• Good communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Basic computer skills.
• All applicants must be a successful candidate on the Plant Operator Selection System/Power Plant Operations and Maintenance (POSS / MASS) program in order to be considered a candidate for this position.

Nice To Haves

• Experience operating mobile equipment such as forklifts and motor cranes is preferred.
