About The Position

The Material Specialist II performs assigned duties that support Production and Logistics, which could include pulling, counting, and packing Finished Goods, Components, and/or Raw Materials and moving them manually and/or by mobile equipment to designated areas in the facility or onto trucks. This role requires limited oversight and involves performing accurately and effectively all the duties of a Materials Specialist I. The position encompasses multiple duties within assigned functional areas such as Shipping, Stores, Receiving, and Raw Materials, including setting up and running packaging machines, work order pulls, PO receipts, and interpreting schedules for material replenishments.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED.
• 1-3 years of related experience and/or training.
• Forklift / Mobile Equipment Certification.
• Ability to read and understand blueprints, work orders, and inventory reports.
• Knowledge of Inventory software and Manufacturing software.

Responsibilities

• Perform all duties of a Materials Specialist I with limited oversight.
• Set up and run manual and high-speed packaging machines.
• Retrieve and stock items in the Modula unit.
• Conduct work order pulls, putaways, and re-stocks.
• Handle pickups and deliveries.
• Process PO receipts and OP processing.
• Receive, issue, and sample raw materials.
• Interpret schedules and determine replenishments for materials.
• Operate mobile equipment safely.
• Read and interpret part drawings, work instructions, and customer order instructions.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
