About The Position

The Material Readiness Coordinator is responsible for ensuring timely, accurate material movement starting at the inbounding stage to Production Supply Areas (PSAs) across the site. This role ensures PSA readiness, staging execution, and inventory accuracy, while maintaining SAP accuracy through correct staging, consumption, and finished-goods (FG) confirmations. The Material Readiness Coordinator acts as the operational bridge between Production, Scheduling, Distribution, and Inventory Systems to ensure work is executed on time and fully aligned with the manufacturing plan, with a clear handoff at the PSA

Requirements

  • 1+ years fork truck/lift experience
  • Ability to perform as a Clorox licensed forklift operator, with additional qualification for use of attachments.
  • Hands-on experience with EWM and related warehouse management processes.
  • Strong understanding of inventory control and material flow in manufacturing environments.
  • Ability to troubleshoot system errors and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
  • Excellent organizational and analytical skills.

  • Familiarity with SAP S/4 and MES integration.

Responsibilities

  • Material Readiness & Staging: Own inbound processing and handling of all raw and packaging materials. Own all raw and packaging material readiness for Production Supply Areas (PSAs), including kitting, staging, and replenishment. Ensure proper creation, prioritization, and execution of warehouse tasks to move materials from storage and storerooms to designated PSAs. Validate material availability against BOM demand and production schedules, identifying shortages or constraints early. Coordinate with Material Coordinators, Distribution, and Inventory Systems to resolve material constraints and staging issues. Ensure materials are staged to the correct PSA, in the correct quantity, and at the required time to support uninterrupted execution.
  • Material Movement & Execution: Manage priority-based material movement to PSAs based on production demand signals. Monitor open and aging warehouse tasks and take corrective action to prevent delays. Coordinate forklift and material-handling resources to meet PSA demand. Reduce emergency moves and last-minute staging through proactive planning.
  • Inventory Accuracy: Own inventory accuracy for PSA bins, pre-staging locations, and line-side supply areas. Perform targeted spot checks and PSA-focused cycle counts. Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies prior to production consumption. Maintain alignment between physical inventory and SAP records.
  • SAP / EWM Transactional Execution: Systematically receive all Raw Pack material and create necessary handling units for incoming material. Ensure correct bin determination and warehouse task execution for PSA replenishment. Maintain SAP accuracy through proper staging, material consumption postings, and finished-goods confirmations. Manage queue monitoring and clearing for advanced warehouse tasks. Manage stock type changes affecting PSA availability (quality hold, blocked, restricted-use). Perform HU reversals and troubleshoot system-related issues.
  • Interface With Production & Scheduling: Serve as the primary PSA material contact for Production teams. Communicate PSA readiness status, shortages, and constraints to Scheduling and Operations. Align daily PSA priorities with the manufacturing plan. Provide a clean, confirmed PSA handoff to execution teams.
  • Continuous Improvement: Identify and eliminate material flow losses related to PSA staging (waiting, re-handling, mis-picks). Improve PSA bin strategy, replenishment logic, and staging standards. Partner with Continuous Improvement and IT teams to close gaps impacting PSA reliability. Support standard work documentation and training related to PSA material flow
