About The Position

The Standard Missile 3 team is seeking an experienced supply chain professional to join the SM-3 IB program as a Material Program Manager located onsite in Tucson, Arizona. This role will be dedicated to working Supplier Capacity projects to ensure the supply base can meet future demand. We are looking for a self-starter who can develop and achieve program objectives in a matrixed environment and is able to successfully interface with functional and program leadership. In this role, you will be the liaison between Supply Chain and the Program Team for Supply Chain. This position is contingent upon a contract award. Employment in this role will only be extended if the program is awarded to the Standard Missile 3 portfolio. The successful candidate will influence and communicate effectively across multiple areas outside of one’s own job function as well as with parties external to the organization.

Requirements

  • Typically requires a University Degree or equivalent experience and a minimum of 8 years prior relevant supply chain experience, or An Advanced Degree in a related field and a minimum 5 years relevant supply chain experience
  • Minimum of 5 years experience in Program Management, Material Program Management, Procurement, Contracts, Finance, Operations, and/or Strategic Sourcing
  • Experience working in an Integrated Product Team (IPT) environment
  • Experience with Supply Chain, Production Control, and/or Procurement processes and requirements

  • CORE or similar Six Sigma Specialist
  • Experience with Prime Contract Requirements and Statements of Work (SSOWs)

  • Execution experience of multiple program and contract types (i.e EMD, LRIP, FRP, Cost and Fixed Price)

Responsibilities

  • Brief program and customer leadership teams on Supply Chain status, material constraints and risk mitigation or opportunity capture plans
  • Support supplier negotiations and drive PO placement as required to meet program cost and schedule objectives
  • Contribute to timely and compliant quarterly Estimates At Completion (EACs) to include Risk & Opportunity management
  • Identifying Customer Prime Contract Flow-Downs and obtaining any required Terms Attachments (T-Attachments) and/or Modifications (TCMs)
  • Assisting with the generation of Supplier Statements of Work (SSOWs)
  • Generating Supplier Request for Information/Proposals/Quotes (RFIs/RFPs/RFQs), and obtaining and understanding supplier proposals/quotes
  • Generating and processing Supplier New Add / Re-Activation requests
  • Participating in supplier engagements and reviews to ensure supplier performance
  • Willingness to travel domestically/internationally, as required (expected to be <40%)
