Raytheon is seeking an experienced Material Program Manager (MPM) to oversee materials management for the RSS Product Line, ensuring program success in cost, schedule, and quality for our Naval Power customer. The role requires strong project management skills and the ability to interface with various levels of internal management and suppliers. This position is onsite and involves comprehensive supply chain support and financial management.

  • Overall ownership of several over TINA suppliers, focusing on collaborating with Program IPTs for cost-effective material availability.
  • Accurate sales forecasting of all assigned ETC.
  • Support program capture efforts with the New Business Team for compliant material pricing submittals and developing Basis of Estimates (BOEs).
  • Create, manage, and execute Material Program Strategy (MPS) and Material Program Plan (MPP) for successful program execution.
  • Provide comprehensive Supply Chain support for Gates 0-11 activities and ensure IPDP compliance.
  • Monitor and proactively address performance and financial metrics related to cost, schedule, quality, and EVMS.
  • Collaborate with other programs to maximize efficiency of program execution.
  • Manage the supplier management process, including performance, SCM metrics, and communication of customer flow through requirements.
  • A University Degree or equivalent experience and minimum 8 years prior relevant experience, or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 5 years' experience.
  • Experience in supply chain and related systems, procurement, MRP, receiving, cost estimating, and/or finance.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued Top Secret security clearance.
  • U.S. citizenship is required.
  • Working knowledge of SAP Raytheon or similar systems.
  • Six Sigma Specialist certification.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Experience interfacing with all levels of internal management.
  • Experience with supplier management and/or subcontract management.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Ability to coordinate strategies and manage tactical execution.
  • General understanding of working in an Integrated Product Team (IPT) environment.
