About The Position
BASIC FUNCTION: To process, price and transfer purchased goods for the stores. The hourly wage for the Material Processor position is $13.73 ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS: Separate, price and pack all purchased goods in a timely manner Price/transfer new goods according to department standards Accurately complete required paper work and account for inventory dollars Completely deactivate any necessary labeling according to vendor agreements Maintain orderliness and cleanliness of the Purchased Goods area and assigned workstations. Scan incoming deliveries Routinely use a computer to check in, price check, scan product and process transfers. Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Some mathematical ability.
- Retail experience preferred.
- Possess good decisions making skills and work within established guidelines
- Attention to detail for quality control
- Operate pallet jack safely
- Physical ability to lift 50 pounds.
