About The Position

Responsible for the day-to-day warehousing and distribution of aftermarket aircraft materials. You will be assigned to one or more of the following areas with the following duties: Storage and Preservation, Picking, Shipping, and Inventory Management.

Requirements

• High School diploma/GED.
• Over 24 months or more hands-on warehouse experience required.
• Oral and written command of the English language necessary.
• Basic math skills required (addition, subtraction, and multiplication).
• Ability to obtain forklift certification.

Responsibilities

• Overall maintenance, repairs and housekeeping of the warehouse and work area.
• Inspection, cleaning and maintenance of related equipment.
• Proper repackaging of materials for preservation as required for stocking and staging.
• Place parts in permanent warehouse storage locations.
• Pick parts from location and verify accuracy before routing to Outbound Inspection.
• Gather LLP paperwork for shipment for Inspection processing.
• Transfer material from stock carts to shelf locations, recording of transfers in the system.
• Maintain a log of parts located.
• Pick and action stock checks, including updating manufacturing dates in the system.
• Pack all post-inspection shipments in ATA 300 spec packaging.
• Take pictures to detail packing methods and provide documents for shipping.
• Build crates and assist in creating solutions for odd-sized parts shipping methods.
• Prepare customs documents and assist in proper shipping of dangerous goods.
• Verify location, counts, and condition of all material received into the warehouse.
• Keep records of all findings and corrective actions taken.
• Perform 'location' audits for parts.
• Use problem-solving techniques to resolve inventory related problems.
• Participate in AOG as necessary.
• Complete special projects in all areas as assigned.
