In this role, you will prepare, mix, and package filter materials by following detailed work instructions and safety procedures. This position is hands-on and plays an important role in ensuring product quality and safe operations.

Requirements

  • Ability to read and follow detailed work instructions
  • Basic math skills for weighing and measuring materials
  • Experience working in manufacturing or with industrial mixers, bulk bags, or powdered materials preferred
  • Forklift or pallet jack experience (or willingness to be trained)
  • Ability and willingness to wear required PPE
  • Reliable attendance and strong work ethic
  • Ability to perform repetitive tasks in a fast-paced environment
  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Must wear required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) such as steel-toe shoes/boots, ear and eye protection.
  • Prolonged periods of sitting/standing and frequent bending and reaching.
  • The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds, occasionally lift and/or move up to 100 pounds, and with assistance

Nice To Haves

  • Experience working in manufacturing or with industrial mixers, bulk bags, or powdered materials preferred
  • Forklift or pallet jack experience (or willingness to be trained)

Responsibilities

  • Follow mix instructions and log sheets to ensure correct materials, quantities, and labeling
  • Load and prepare raw materials (bulk and bagged) into mixing equipment
  • Operate scales, hoppers, bulk bag systems, and mixers to measure and transfer materials accurately
  • Wear required PPE (such as Tyvek suits, respirators, safety blades, etc.) and follow all safety guidelines
  • Monitor mixing equipment and refill materials as needed to keep production running
  • Start up, run, and shut down equipment according to standard work instructions
  • Transfer finished mixes into bulk bags and ensure they are properly secured and labeled
  • Move materials safely using pallet jacks and overhead cranes
  • Keep your work area clean, organized, and safe
  • Communicate with team leads as needed regarding safety, procedures, or equipment setup
