About The Position

The Material Processor will be responsible for various duties including but not limited to: dumping product components into feed hoppers, hanging supersacks and use the RF Scanner to make product transfers. Hours of Operation: Monday through Thursday 6:00am to 4:30pm. Overtime when needed: Fridays 6:00am to 4:30pm Key Duties and Responsibilities Inspect and maintain safety (LOTO) and quality (HACCP/GMP) parameters and specifications. Safe execution of equipment startup and shutdown procedures. Execute standard setup and changeover of equipment. Operate equipment within run parameters and process specifications. Monitor and adjust production processes or equipment for quality and productivity. Prepare production documents, such as manufacturing batch records, quality records, inventory reports, or productivity reports. Maintain equipment performance through the understanding of equipment structure and functions and able to discover the cause of equipment abnormalities. Ability to understand the relationship between equipment and quality and can predict quality defects and discover root causes. Material movement (using manual and Powered Industrial Trucks and equipment). Ability to lift to 30 lbs. Intermediate computer skills required Accurate clerical and numerical skills, as well as paperwork accuracy. Ability to operate automated inventory systems. Ability to communicate and work well with all levels of employees Ability to work overtime (including weekends). Ability to operate forklift equipment. Ability to accurately add and subtract. Participate in the Monthly Inventory Count. Must be able to work in cross-functional teams. Must be flexible and adaptable to business needs.
