Material Prep/Deburr
About The Position
We are looking for a Material Prep to join our Shelby team! As our Material Prep you will set up, operate, and maintain set-ups of grit blast and plating equipment. Cleans, masks, plates, demasks, and identifies parts in accordance with all quality and manufacturing procedures. Location: Shelby, NC Hourly: $21.01 to $30.33 Please note that the hourly range information provided is a general guideline only, reflecting a position based in NC. Criteria such as the candidate’s qualifications and relevant experience, the scope of the specific position, as well as market and business considerations will be evaluated when extending an offer. Under general supervision, responsible for proper handling of Hazardous Waste and keeping work area clean and free of safety hazards. Masks, demasks, and cleans parts manually. Plates a variety of parts to blueprint using manual methods and completes all associated paperwork. Assists in troubleshooting plating problems
Requirements
- Must be a US citizen
- 2-3 years experience in a manufacturing environment
- High school or equivalent
- Ability to lift up to 50lbs
- Comfortable with air tools
Nice To Haves
- Heat Treat oven experience is a bonus
