To support our extraordinary teams who build great products and contribute to our growth, we’re looking to add a Material Planning Analyst located in Orangeburg, SC. Reporting to the Director, Materials the Material Planning Analyst is in charge of maintaining materials/purchasing data, supply data and information to other production departments, coordinate contracts, maintain Certificates of Conformance for all suppliers, and create and maintain outsources parts schedules.

Requirements

  • Typically requires a minimum of 7/9+ years of related experience.
  • Ability to read, analyze and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals and technical procedures.
  • Ability to write reports, business correspondence and procedure manuals.
  • Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from managers, customers and suppliers.
  • Ability to read, write, and speak English.
  • Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions and percentages.
  • Proficient in MS office applications.
  • Demonstrates advanced functional and technical skills and basic process skills.
  • Demonstrates advanced/ thorough knowledge of the function and Flex business.
  • Ability to identify problems, establishing facts and recommending solutions.
  • Ability to deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists.

Responsibilities

  • Assists in auditing data for accuracy and preparing summary reports, spreadsheets, graphics and charts based on the research of data.
  • May assist in the preparation of recommendations to management based on the research of data.
  • Collects, compiles, and presents various types of data.
  • Prepares summary reports, spreadsheets, and charts based on research of data from multiple sources.
  • May create and/or maintain databases in help of data collection.
  • Audits data.
  • Resolves data integrity issues, including but not limited to quotations.
  • Proactively identifies and escalates potential issues related to metrics.
  • Suggests process/communication improvements relative to metric tracking activities.
  • Tracks materials financial performance, and initiates corrective actions when required.
  • Daily review of RMA transactions.
  • Creates weekly purchase orders including all client parts.
  • Receives data entry for clients.
  • Updates content list and item master.
  • Prepares DPT packing list for LCAD repairing.
  • Acts as a window to client material (consigned parts) supply.
  • Acts as a window to client bulk RMA service.
