About The Position

The Material Planner at Hardy Diagnostics is responsible for planning and managing production materials to support the manufacturing production schedule using the EPICOR system. This role involves monitoring material usage, adjusting stocking levels, and collaborating with various teams to ensure efficient production planning.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Intermediate level skills in Microsoft Word and Excel.
• Experience in production planning, supply chain management, and warehouse operations.

Nice To Haves

• Technical training in Manufacturing Technology or related field preferred.
• Associates degree in Business or related field preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage material and production planning functions.
• Work directly with the EPICOR system to input and extract material data.
• Manage MRP stocking levels for raw materials to meet production schedules.
• Monitor material usage data to adjust stocking levels accordingly.
• Conduct material usage calculations using demand forecasts and historical data.
• Collaborate with the Design & Development team to ensure appropriate stocking levels.
• Interface with manufacturing personnel, purchasing department, warehouse, and scheduling on material status and production planning issues.
• Maintain department metrics and key performance indicators relevant to the department.
• Develop and maintain EPICOR integrity by writing work instructions and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
