About The Position

The Material Planner is responsible for planning, scheduling, and monitoring the movement of materials through the production cycle. This role involves determining material requirements based on engineering and production schedules, coordinating the efficient movement of materials with various departments, and ensuring data integrity within procurement systems.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree and no experience, or at least 2 years of shop order planning and purchasing experience.
• High school diploma or GED is required.
• At least 1 year of experience in purchasing.

Responsibilities

• Plan, schedule, and monitor the movement of materials through the production cycle.
• Determine material requirements from engineering and production schedules.
• Coordinate the efficient movement of materials with purchasing, production, and engineering departments.
• Develop specifications for new contract orders.
• Ensure procurement business system data input and integrity.
• Create and maintain bills of material and parts/commodities numbers in supply chain management systems.

Benefits
